The parameters of this project were to take a dying company and revive it with a completely new brand identity. I chose NASA, reinventing it as the National Agency for Scientific Adventure. This project was voted "Excellent" on Brand New Classroom.

The final deliverable was a brand guideline book introducing the new NASA, its visual identity, and its expansion into new commercial markets, under the tagline "NASA: See for yourself."

The "Scientific Adventure" brand is expanded in two ways: by including terrestrial and marine research in NASA's search for the unknown, and by letting ordinary civilians participate in its missions.

The logo is built from the intersection of two sets of three circles, tilted at the same angle as the Earth's axis (23.5°)

I also imagined NASA expanding into consumer products as a scientific adventure lifestyle brand.
